Speaking from Experience

What is the problem you have identified?

Teach students how to cook properly, as most students are clueless. provide knowledge and infer nation n how to prepare and cook with fresh ingredients so it is more healthy and nutritious.


Why is it problem? 

  1. Spending money on ready made meals when you could buy twice as many fresh ingredients and make your own for half the money.
  2. Many students eat very unhealthy as they don't have the skills to produce healthy food. 
  3. Students ofte order takeaway of go to the kebab shop instead of producing your own food. 
  4. students already have a busy unhealthy lifestyle, and by eating healthy this could improve health
  5. Readily prepared foods often have added salts and trans-fats as well as other chemicals 
What I intend to do about it

  1. Inform students that cooking and eating in can be a fun way to socialise
  2. Produce info which informs students about food groups and what is healthy etc,
  3. Produce meal plans so students can produce simple quick healthy meals 
  4. Recipe book which has a meals a day
  5. Make a calendar with a different recipe per day which are easily prepared. 
I hope to produce a publication which is informative in a way which allows students to gain practical knowledge about how to cook healthy nutritious meals.
