First and Second year work

Evaluation of 1st and second year in comparison to 3rd year

Over the duration of first and second year the type of work i did was hugely experimental. I produced work in order to try out new processes and ways of working including projects which focused mainly on screen  printing, lazor cutting, textile printing, illustration and various ways of using typography. However in third year, I think my style has really changed, I am now a lot more focused on he type of work which I will produce. For example I know now that I am hugely interested in Branding and Identity, something which i would never of even considered going in first year. 

However I think some element of my interests from first year has stuck, such as Illustration and my passion for creating Patterns, This is something which I would like to focus on more in the future, hopefully entering the world of Design for Textiles at some point.  

Below are some examples of my work from First and Second year, It all varies in style and technique, I think this has really benefitted my design practice as i know know what i prefer to do and would want to specialise in, in the future. It has also helped me when looking a studios which I would like to contact as it has helped my narrow down Studios which I would not like to approach.
